MYLES SAITTA
Writer/Director
Myles has a background in literature, where he developed an understanding of film theory and adaptation. As a minor, he studied philosophy to gain insight into the history of intention and metaphor. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Philosophy and Media, he pursued study further with his honours but discovered that films resonated with him on a more personal level. This realisation led him to complete his first short film in 2022. Having primarily worked in public relations and literary theory, he found it rewarding to transition into film production at the VCA, where he has written and directed two short films.

Odysseus is an emerging talent from Melbourne, Australia. After transitioning from high school to the acting industry, he quickly made his mark, starring in over 20 short films and three feature films in just two years, with more projects on the horizon. The 22-year-old Greek-Australian studied at NIDA before joining The Melbourne Actors Lab with Peter Kalos. He has been honing his craft there for the past year.

Yali Manskleid is an actress and dancer based in Melbourne. Her credits at the National Drama School include Caryl Churchill’s “Fen” (2022), Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet” (2023), Darkness in the self-devised clowning show “Stupidly Truthful” (2023), and Ghost in “Hamlet” (2024).

Nicholson Ren
Director of Photography
Nicholson is a Malaysian-Australian Cinematographer and Producer based in Melbourne, Australia. He studied accounting and finance at Melbourne University but began his career in the film industry immediately after graduation. In 2023 his short film Jia was nominated for an AACTA and has screened in over 30 film festivals internationally while also winning multiple national awards. He is currently working on his first feature documentary Time and Tide.

Andrew is an emerging producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Since 2019, he has specialized in producing educational videos for digital learning platforms and social media. He holds a Master of Screen Producing degree, which he completed in 2024. Currently, he works as a Production Coordinator for Umbrella Entertainment, an independent Australian film distributor.

Lily is an emerging production designer based in Naarm/Melbourne. She is particularly interested in nuanced, social realist films that push the boundaries and are infused with a deep sense of empathy, inhabited by complex characters and difficult emotions. She has a minimalist, raw aesthetic and is typically drawn to depicting the beauty in the mundane. However, with a versatile visual style, she is eager to take risks and support unconventional narratives. She hopes to be a part of films that seek to create real change and help people feel seen.
